
Watermelon Beergarita
Makes

1 oz blanco tequila
1 oz fresh lime juice
½ oz agave syrup
¼ cup fresh seedless watermelon
4 ice cubes
3 oz Mexican beer
1 oz Tajin (or other spicy salt) to rim the glass
1 large wedge of watermelon, dusted with some chili pepper or Tajin
1 sprig of basil
1 oz blanco tequila
1 oz fresh lime juice
½ oz agave syrup
¼ cup fresh seedless watermelon
4 ice cubes
3 oz Mexican beer
1 oz Tajin (or other spicy salt) to rim the glass
1 large wedge of watermelon, dusted with some chili pepper or Tajin
1 sprig of basil
Directions
1Rim a Margarita glass with Tajin or other spiced salt.
2Combine tequila, lime juice, agave and watermelon into blender and blend for 45 seconds on medium or until the drink is a smooth consistency—but not so long that it’s liquified.
3Garnish with a big wedge of watermelon and basil on a pick and add the beer last.
Tips

Supersize it: Make this a pitcher drink that can serve four by multiplying all ingredients except the Tajin by four. Pour into garnished glasses and add the beer last to finish the drink tableside.

Zero-proof it: Use a non-alcoholic beer instead of a Mexican lager and one ounce of ginger beer in place of the tequila.
